Our facility includes a temperature-controlled indoor space with open access to outdoor paddocks, a clean and refreshing lagoon for swimming, a sandpit for digging, and terrain mounds for added adventure.

With secure 1.8m fencing, daily perimeter checks, and 24/7 CCTV monitoring, safety is our top priority. We also offer accessible parking and facilities, including an eco-friendly unisex toilet for visitor convenience.

Dog Office & Indoor Shed

Our temperature-controlled shed and office serve as a comfortable indoor retreat for the dogs, ensuring a cozy environment in both hot and cold weather. The space is designed to allow free-flowing access between the shed and the outdoor paddock, facilitated by our unique dog tunnel system—large concrete water pipes that provide a fun and engaging transition between areas.

Inside the shed, we offer open cages where dogs can take a break whenever they need a bit of alone time. These cozy, open spaces allow them to nap and recharge their energy before returning to play. This ensures that dogs can self-regulate their activity levels, making the daycare experience both stimulating and relaxing as needed.

Lagoon

Our lagoon is a specially designed concrete-based swimming area lined with beach sand to provide a clean and enjoyable water play experience for all dogs. Unlike muddy ponds, our setup ensures that dogs can splash and swim without getting excessively dirty, making pickup time easier for owners.

We take pride in maintaining high water quality using natural, dog-safe treatments to keep the lagoon as clear, fresh, and free from harmful bacteria or algae as possible. Our approach ensures a safe and hygienic swimming experience while minimizing odors or excessive mess.

For added excitement, we have a small jetty, perfect for dogs that love to jump, splash, or simply observe their surroundings from a higher vantage point. Whether they prefer to paddle around or playfully dive in, the lagoon offers a fun, refreshing way to cool off and exercise.

Fencing

At Whinnleys Rural Dog Daycare, safety is our top priority, and our fencing is designed to ensure a secure and fully enclosed environment for all dogs.

The entire perimeter is enclosed with 1.8-meter-tall fencing, providing extra security to prevent jumping or climbing escapes.
To deter digging, we have installed anti-dig footing netting along the base of the fence, preventing dogs from tunneling underneath.
Every morning before opening, our staff performs a thorough perimeter check to ensure that the fence remains intact and uncompromised. This routine inspection guarantees that all safety measures are maintained, allowing dogs to explore and play freely without risk.

With these precautions in place, we ensure a safe, controlled, and worry-free environment where dogs can enjoy their day without the risk of escape.

Sandpit

At Whinnleys Rural Dog Daycare, we understand that digging is a natural and enjoyable activity for many dogs. To provide a safe and designated space for this behavior, we have created a large sandpit where dogs can dig freely without disrupting other areas of the facility.

Our soft, easy-to-dig sand ensures that dogs can safely engage in their instinctual digging behaviors while staying clean and comfortable. This area provides mental stimulation, physical exercise, and pure fun, giving dogs an outlet for their natural curiosity and energy.

Whether they’re digging for fun, making a cozy resting spot, or playing with friends, our sandpit offers an enriching and mess-friendly play area that keeps tails wagging!

Accessible Toilet + Parking

At Whinnleys Rural Dog Daycare, we prioritize accessibility, sustainability, and convenience for all our visitors.

Our unisex accessible toilet is designed to meet Australian accessibility standards, ensuring it is suitable for everyone.
The car park and pathways are also fully accessible, allowing for smooth and easy navigation.
To minimize our environmental footprint, we have installed a NatureLoo compostable toilet, which is an eco-friendly alternative that reduces water usage while maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
